In this month of January, when the Diocesan Plan for the Future of our Parishes will be announced, let us keep in prayer Bishop John and all clergy and parishioners, and all the baptised of our Diocese. Tough decisions will have to be made as we prepare for a changing society and look to become "missionary" in our outlook.
The plan will be announced 14"/15" January and will be a result of almost 2 years of consultation drawing on the views of clergy and parishioners across the diocese. This is an important time and we need again to call on the Holy Spirit to guide us, and like Jesus, Mary and Joseph prayed "Let Thy will be done.”
“Stay with us Lord on our Journey” Prayer of Bishop John.
